Ingredients

  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 scoop (30g) unflavoured whey or collagen peptide powder
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (100% cacao, no sugar)
  • 200ml full-fat coconut cream (not coconut milk)
  • 1 tbsp MCT oil
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • 4–6 ice cubes
  • Stevia or monk fruit to taste (optional — both are zero glycaemic)

Instructions

  1. Add the coconut cream to the blender first.
  2. Add the avocado flesh, cocoa powder, protein or collagen powder, MCT oil, cinnamon, and sea salt.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on high for 60 seconds until completely smooth and thick.
  5. Taste and add a few drops of stevia or monk fruit if you prefer it sweeter — both are zero sugar and will not break your fast.
  6. Pour into a glass and drink immediately. The avocado will oxidise if left to sit.
